Paging in India was primarily Operator Assisted since launch in 1995. At its peak in 1999 we had a combined base of 2,00,000 Pagers and our   Operators were handling

in excess of 2,50,000 calls per day but today most of the messaging is automated usingMachine to Man form of messaging.

Hence, we have been operating 24x7 Paging Services uninterruptedly for close to 12 years now. The acquisition of Pagepoint from MOTOROLA gave HFCL access to International Standards and Practices Paging and Customer Services.
