Pagepoint was acquired by Himachal Futuristic Communication Ltd in the year 2000 from MOTOROLA INC., which owned and operated Pagepoint till the take over. Paging in India was primarily Assisted since launch in 1995. At its peak in 1999 we had a combined base of 2,00,000 Pagers and our Operators were handling in excess of 2,50,000 calls per day but today most of the messaging is automated using Machine to Man form of messaging. Hence, we have been operating 24x7 Paging Services uninterruptedly for close to 12 years now.
